1. The detailed results screen offers just enough options to view the report.  These reports show only response distributions per question and do not compare your results with any other results.
   
   
   A. Year - Changing this to 'Show All' will show all of your calendar years.
   B. Term – Changing this to 'Show All' will show courses in all terms.
   C. Survey – Changing this to 'Show All' will show all possible evaluations.
   D. Overall Report  – Click on the graph icon to display the overall report for that course.

1. The evaluation reports screen offers several options.  The two key areas to check are A and B below.  Including all of your courses for a term can result in a very long report that would print out as many many pages.  It is often more efficient to view one class per report.
   
   
   A. Survey Year - Changing this to 'Show All' will show all of your calendar years.
   B. Period – Changing this to 'Show All' will show courses in all terms.
   C. Survey – Changing this to 'Show All' will show all possible evaluations.
   D. View Report – This creates the report in a new window based on the options you have selected.
   E. Include – This allows you to select which courses to see in the report.
   
   
   
   
2. There are more options available to you.  Click on Options next to View Report to see more options.  The defaults are often fine for most people.  Many of the options have a little question mark '?' next to them that you can mouse over to see a brief explanation.
   
   
   Starting from the upper left and moving down the columns:
    
   • Numeric Results – You may choose to include graphs and numerical data, or to omit the graphs and only have numeric tables, or completely omit the numerical
   results.  The last option will essentially show only the open-ended responses.
   • Text Results – You may choose to omit the open-ended responses.
   • Graph Options – You may change how the graphs are shaded and if the graphs will have labels on them.
   • Select Data Table Columns – In the numerical results you may chose what statistical elements are included.  Generally standard deviation and the frequency
   distribution are sufficient.  The mean (average) will always be displayed.
   • Compare Performance Against – You may choose to not include information comparing this course to others.  In some cases the comparisons are not relevant
   and only add clutter to the report. The comparisons are only against courses that were open at the same time as this course - i.e. the same term.
   • Other Options – These options will generally never be useful to us.
   
   

1. After you login you will see your recent evaluations.  Click "Reports" then "Evaluation Reports" to see the list of ALL of course evaluations visible to you -- not just recent ones. 
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. After clicking "All Reports" you will see 5 sorting options at the top of your list.  They are described below.  "Show All" is often the best best.
   
   
   
   • Survey Type: For Augsburg this will always be "Standard"
   • Survey Year: This is the calendar year of the survey.  Picking "Show All" will show all of your years but could result in a long list.
   • Survey Period: This is the term (semester or trimester).  Sometimes in Fall the semester and trimester are run under the same grouping so it's best to look in both fall semester and fall trimester for courses.  Or even better picking "Show All" will just show all terms.
   • Survey Status: You will only see results from closed surveys so this will just be "Closed."
   • Survey: This is the name of the specific survey run.  This is best kept on "Show All" as the survey runs are date based and you may not know which month a survey was run.

1. Once you are logged in you will see your available evaluations. In the Reports menu are 2 types of reports available to you: Evaluation Reports and Individual Reports. Each one has its advantages.

   
   
   
2. Evaluation Reports offer comparisons with your department and with the larger group in the same evaluation period as well as the means and standard deviations for each question. You have many options as to what you want to see.

   
   
   
   

3. Individual Reports offer reports without comparisons but with graphical distributions of responses for the questions. The number of responses are shown per question and not for the entire course.
