1. To add the Accessibility Block to the list of blocks in the left margin of your course, turn editing on (click on the "Turn editing on" button in the upper right corner of the course) scroll to the "Add a Block" block and select "Accessibility" from the drop down menu.
   
   
   
   
2. The block includes a "Launch ATbar" button. Clicking on this opens a new toolbar at the top of the Moodle page with 0ptions for individuals to customize the appearance of their Moodle course including:
   1. increasing/decreasing font size
   2. changing font settings
   3. activating text-to-speech

Checking the "(always?)" box means any changes will be persistent when students return to the course.

1. In the upper right corner of your course, click "Turn editing on."
   
   
   
   
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the blocks (left margin), and from the drop-down menu in the "Add a block" block, select the block you want to add.
   
   Tip: Type the beginning letter of any block to quickly navigate the list alphabetically. For example, type "q" to find QuickMail.
   
   
   
   
3. Wait a moment for the page to refresh (reload) and you will see the block added to the left side.
   
   

1. In your course, turn editing on and scroll down to the "Add a Block" block (in the left margin). [NOTE: You must add the Sharing Cart block to EACH course where you want to share resources and activities.]
   
   
   
   
2. From the dropdown menu, select "Sharing Cart." [NOTE: the block will automatically be added--you do not need to "Save" or "Update."]
   
   
   
   
3. Once you have added the Sharing Cart block to a course, when you have "editing" turned ON every Moodle resource or activity in that course has a "blue basket" icon to the left of the Edit dropdown menu. Click on that option to save a copy of that resource/activity in the Sharing Cart.
   
   
   
   
4. When you select an item to copy to the sharing cart, a pop-up confirming your selection will appear. Click "Confirm." [NOTE: You may be asked if you want to copy "user data." Almost always your answer should be "No."]
   
   
   
   
5. The item will now appear in the Sharing Cart. To copy the item into another course, go into that course, add the Sharing Cart from the "Add a Block" block, and then click then click the download icon next to the item. [Remember that you must add the Sharing Cart to that course AND have "Editing" on!]
   
   
   
   
6. In the bottom of every topic section of your course, a "dotted line rectangle" will appear. Select where in the course you want to add the item, and click the arrow in the center of that box to add.
   
   
   
   
7. You can delete individual items from your cart, do a bulk delete, or remove the sharing cart from your course.
