To change the Course and Category totals so that they are listed first on the Setup tab, configure the settings as follows:

For example:

Gradebook Setup with totals listed first instead of last

  1. From the Administration block > Gradebook Setup > Course grade settings tab > General settings section, change the "Aggregation position" field from last to first.

From the Administration block > Gradebook Setup > Course grade settings tab > General settings section, change the Aggregation position field from last to first.

To make the Course Total appear first on grader reports (View tab: "Grader report" sub-tab and User report" sub-tab):

  1. Select the "Preferences: Grader Report" tab, scroll down to the General section.

Switch tabs to go to Preferences: Grader Report

  2. Click "Show More" (changes to "Show less...") to view the "Aggregation position" field. Use the drop-down filed to change "Last" to "First".

Scroll down to the General section and click "Show More" to view the Aggregation position > Change from Last to First.
