Using Express Messaging
Posted by Scott Krajewski (Import) on 21 July 2009 02:31 PM

You can leave a message without causing the phone to ring.  This is useful for use when you need to leave a quick voicemail message or for times when you know the person you are calling is out of the office.

You can also avoid hearing the greeting each time.

  1. Dial 1605 (on-campus); or 612-330-1605 (off-campus) to enter express messaging.
  2. Enter the mailbox number of the person for whom you are leaving the message.  This is their extension.
  3. Press # to skip the greeting.
  4. At the tone record your message.
  5. Hang up to finish.
