Installing the iPrint client on Linux (Student)

  1. Make sure you are using Mozilla Firefox to view this page. If you are using a different web browser, close the program and open this page with Firefox.

  2. Download the iPrint client installer. (.rpm)

  3. When the download completes, install the iPrint client. Because of the differentiation in the distributions of Linux, we are unable to provide instruction sets for each one. You should follow the appropriate installation process for your distribution.

Once the iPrint client is installed, use Firefox to go to the printer install page and select the printer you want to set up. (You must be on campus to complete this second step).

If you are using a Debian or a Debian based distribution (e.g. Linux Mint, Ubuntu) you may want to use Alien to convert the .rpm file into a .deb
