Mac Migration (current)

- Migrate user (optional)
- Connect an ethernet cable to both machines
- Start Migration Assistant on both and follow instructions
- Check permissions on user folder. Change if necessary
- Run repair permissions from Disk Utility
- If you don't migrate the user create the account using one of these methods
- Have the user login
- Create the account with sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/ManagedClient.app/Contents/Resources/createmobileaccount -n username
- Enable the user to log into the encrypted partition
- Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > FileVault
- Unlock and click enable users (this will only appear if there are users who aren't enabled yet)
- The user will need to enter their password at this point
